Sadie is the founder of Umé Acupuncture, she’s a licensed and practising Acupuncturist who holds a BSC (Hons) in Acupuncture gained at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. A practicing therapist for 13 years and member of the British Acupuncture Council, Sadie integrates Acupuncture with palpation based bodywork.
Sadie maintains a truly holistic approach to her acupuncture therapy, tailoring each treatment to the individual needs of each patient. Her treatment aim is for a patient to experience not just relief from symptoms but to restore their long-term health effectively.
Trained in two styles of Acupuncture: Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Elements, which enables her a deep and insightful knowledge in treating a wide scope of conditions ranging from musculoskeletal problems, pain management, digestive issues, auto immune conditions and emotional stress to reproductive health and fertility.
Having recently relocated to the south coast town of Worthing in West Sussex with her husband and two young children, she is pleased to launch Umé Acupuncture, which provides a diverse range of professional acupuncture treatments.
Having undertaken fertility research during her BSc, Sadie became interested in the importance of pre-conceptual care for the outcome of fertility treatment and the effectiveness of Acupuncture in this area. Sadie has completed further study in treating Women’s reproductive health; gynaecology, fertility and pregnancy.
Sadie successfully treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries particularly sciatica, back pain, neck, shoulder and knee pain. Her treatments may encompass a combination of classical Chinese Medicine palpation skills, Acupressure massage and therapeutic bodywork, cupping, moxa and guasha, for the best outcome for your condition.
